Humans of Covid and the MeDiClowining Academy’s India Nose Love Project

The ongoing pandemic marks an especially anxious time for those working on the frontline to tackle the situation. Humans of Covid is a unique media project inspired by the lives of these workers. Such at-risk frontline workers share moments of their work and personal life in video interviews. These videos document the impact of Covid on their lives and livelihood and hopefully will become historical artefacts in the future.

At a time like this disease prevention practices are critical. Humans of Covid proposed a timely collaboration with Fif Fernandes - the co-founder of MeDiClowning Academy. This academy presents a unique medium for sharing useful information about basic preventive practices. Aimed at making the medical ecosystem a little less intimidating and stressful for patients, the alternate therapy form has the potential to not only be an effective educational tool but also one that can alleviate the stress and fear of the current public health scenario.

One of the aims of Humans of Covid is to spread the vision of MeDiClowning Academy of creating a humorous intervention as an approach to healing and therapy.
